Mpeppe Opens Claim Portal, But Tokens Are Not Tradable
Mpeppe, the blockchain-based casino platform, has opened a claim portal through which users can access 25% of the tokens owed to them. Despite this development, many investors are experiencing difficulties as they are unable to trade their tokens due to a lack of liquidity. The tokens, while claimable, are not available for exchange on decentralized platforms such as Uniswap.
Investors Speak Out About Unfulfilled Presale Promises
The platform faced criticism earlier in August after claims surfaced that Mpeppe had run a fraudulent presale. Investors alleged that they paid cryptocurrency for tokens but never received them. Blockchain records from the time showed that the tokens were stored in a single wallet with no movement. While Mpeppe is now distributing 25% of the tokens, the remaining tokens will be released on December 25.
Portal Requires Personal Information, Not Crypto Addresses
The claim portal allows users to claim their tokens after connecting their wallets, but it does not request cryptocurrency addresses. Instead, users are asked to provide personal information such as phone numbers and email addresses. Although more than 700 users have claimed their tokens, the inability to trade them on decentralized exchanges has left many frustrated.
Mpeppe’s Future Plans Face Uncertainty
Mpeppe has also announced plans for a new gaming platform on Telegram and an online casino where users can place bets using Mpeppe tokens. However, concerns about liquidity and the unresolved issues from the presale may hinder the platform’s future success. The remaining tokens are expected to be distributed on December 25, but the project must address liquidity concerns to regain investor confidence.
